Oakland & Other East Bay Restaurants Reopen For Outdoor Dining
Alameda County and Contra Costa County restaurants have reopened for outdoor dining, and we’re focusing on what we know: Which places are opening back up and what to expect based on the state-wide restrictions. Like you, we’re monitoring the situation day-by-day (more like hour-by-hour), and we’ll continue to update this guide as restaurants in Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, and other East Bay cities reopen.
Currently, the majority of East Bay restaurants have not yet reopened their dining rooms. Aunt Mary's Cafe
The Southern brunch spot has reopened their sidewalk patio for outdoor dining.
Bangkok Garden
The Thai restaurant has reopened their patio for outdoor dining.
Beer Baron
Beer, cocktails, and food are available on their front patio.
Bellanico
The Italian spot has reopened for outdoor dining. Reservations are available.
Bird & Buffalo
The Thai restaurant has curbside picnic tables. Takeout is still available.
Brotzeit Lokal
The waterfront beer garden has reopened for dine-in for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No reservations are required.
Buttercup Diner
The American diner now has outdoor dining available in their parking lot from 7am-8pm.
Caffe Chiave
The coffee shop has reopened their back patio and has tables available for sidewalk seating.
Calavera
The Mexican restaurant has reopened their patio, and is offering cocktails and food daily from 12-8pm. No reservations are required.
Chop Bar
Burgers, beers, and cocktails are available on their outdoor patio.
Communite Table
The American restaurant is offering outdoor seating.
Copper Spoon
The restaurant and cocktail bar on Broadway has a patio available for outdoor dining. Food and cocktails are still available for takeout.
Crepevine
The creperie has reopened their outdoor patio for dine-in.
District
The spot for wine, cocktails, and small plates has reopened their outdoor patio. No reservations are needed.
Doña
The Mexican restaurant has reopened their shaded patio and upper deck patio for outdoor dining. Pick-up and delivery are still available.
Drake's Dealership
Drakes Dealership is once again serving food and beers on their huge outdoor patio. Reservations are available.
The Thai restaurant is reopening their outdoor patio. Reservations are suggested. 90-minutes per party.
The ice cream spot has reopened their front patio.
Fish & Bird Sousaku Izakaya
The Japanese restaurant has reopened for outdoor dining.
Friends And Family
The new-ish bar near Uptown Oakland has reopened for outdoor seating.
Gogi Time
The Korean barbecue has turned their parking lot into an outdoor seating area.
Grand Lake Kitchen
The brunch spot on Lake Merritt has reopened their front patio for dine-in service. Takeout and delivery are still available.

Homestead
Homestead will continue to operate as The Humble Sandwich, and is now offering outdoor dining.
