Philadelphia Restaurants Reopened For Outdoor Dining
Starting June 12, Philadelphia restaurants are officially allowed to reopen for outdoor dining. Though things are changing quickly, we want to provide you with the most up-to-date information that we have: which places are opening back up, whether they’re taking reservations, and any policies they might have that go beyond the city’s Yellow Phase guidelines. While restaurants are in the process of reopening, many places are still offering carryout and delivery. Check out our collection for hundreds of takeout and delivery options across the city.

Hawthornes has between 16-20 seats on their front patio available for outdoor dining, and they’re asking that parties limit their dining time to 75 minutes. If there’s a wait for a table, they are offering frozen margaritas for purchase you can drink while you wait.

Era Ethiopian has a row of two- and four-tops on their sidewalk that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Callowhill
Juno Mexican Grill
Accepting reservations
Juno, a new Mexican bar on Spring Garden from the people behind Harper’s Garden and Rosy’s Taco Bar, has their whole operation outside - with tables that seat from two to ten people. And they’re serving cocktails by the wheelbarrow.
Love City Brewing
Walk-in only
Love City has teamed up with three other breweries in Callowhill to make a socially-distanced beer garden in Love City’s parking lot. It’s first come, first served for now, and you can bring your dog.

Morgan’s is open seven days a week from noon to 10pm with room for 250 socially-distant guests. There will even be a DJ on weekend nights.

Roy Pitz has reopened their outdoor seating Wednesday through Saturday from 12-8pm for parties up to four people.
Yards Brewing Company

Yards is open for outdoor dining from 11:30am-9pm daily, on a first-come, first-served basis. They have their full draft and food menus available, and parties are limited to six people.
Center City

Assembly Rooftop Lounge is open Thursday through Saturday starting at 4pm each day, with Happy Hour specials from 4-6pm and a full menu of cocktails, wine, and beer plus some light snacks. Call them at 215-783-4171 to make a reservation.

Finn McCool’s is partnering with Tradesman’s and Bru to combine their outdoor seating and menu options. The recommended seating time limits are 90 minutes for parties of six or less and 120 minutes for seven or more. To make a reservation, call 267-457-3994.

Tapas spot Jamonera has turned into Salty’s Seafood & Ice Cream Shack for the summer. They’ll serve things like oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, lobster rolls, and root beer floats on their expanded sidewalk seating area.

The Logan Square location of Misconduct Tavern has sidewalk seating available on a first-come, first-served basis every day from 12pm-7pm.

Fiorino Cucina Italiano

Italian BYOB Fiorino has sidewalk seating available by reservation on every night except Monday and Tuesday. Call to book a table at 215-843-1500.
East Passyunk

Barcelona’s Passyunk Ave patio is doing tables on a first-come, first-served basis. The menu is mostly made up of tapas that are perfect for sharing (or not sharing if you’re at dinner with people other than your roommates), and there’s also a very long wine list.

Bing Bing’s sidewalk tables are available to book for parties of six people or less.

Comfort & Floyd’s few sidewalk tables are open for brunch every Friday through Sunday, from 8am-2pm on Friday, and 8am-3pm Saturday and Sunday.

Devil’s Den has a 28-seat space on their sidewalk that is now open, and they allow groups up to six guests per table, with reservations only. They’re serving both bar food and drinks, and ask that groups stay for a maximum of 90 minutes. Call 215-339-0855 to make a reservation.

Southern bar Flannel’s sidewalk seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. They’re serving cocktails, fried chicken sandwiches, and more.
Accepting reservations
Fond is opening their sidewalk tables for outdoor dining every Wednesday through Sunday from 5-9pm. They’re offering a $50 per person pre-fixe meal with things like figs and burrata and soft shell crab, as well as their full wine list and cocktails. Reservations are recommended but not required.
Geno's Steaks

Geno’s has a bunch of picnic benches out in front of their counter-service spot where you can sit and enjoy a cheesesteak.

ITV’s sidewalk seating is open Wednesday through Friday from 4-10pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 1-8pm. They can only accommodate parties of four people or less, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Le Virtu’s huge outdoor patio is available for outdoor seating. Their full menu of pasta, seafood, and other Italian dishes is available.

Pistolas Del Sur

Pistolas Del Sur is open seven days a week from noon to 11pm with sidewalk seating on East Passyunk. Parties will be encouraged during peak times to only stay for around 90 minutes. To make a reservation, call 267-519-2329.
Separatist Beer Project South Philly

Separatist’s South Philly location has a big patio that’s open on a first-come, first-serve basis. They’re serving all of their beers, as well as some bar food.

Fare is open for outdoor dining on both their side patio and front sidewalk for brunch, lunch, and dinner. They’re accepting walk-ins as well as reservations.
The Land On Callowhill

The Land On Callowhill is a new seasonal beer garden from the people behind Brauhaus Schmitz. The fully-outdoor space is essentially just a landscaped lot with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. You can get beer, cocktails, and order off a short menu of bar bites.
Fishtown

Cedar Point in Fishtown has a big front deck that’s open for reservations of six or less people. Call them at 215-423-5400 to book a table.

Ramen spot Cheu is accepting reservations for their shared alley with Nunu next door. In addition to reservations, they’ll accept walk-ins when possible.

Evil Genius’ beer garden is back open - and they’re taking reservations by phone at 215-425-6820 for their socially-distant picnic tables. In addition to beer and cocktails, there’s also a pretty extensive food menu that includes tacos, soft pretzels, and ice cream sandwiches.

BBQ spot Fette Sau has reopened their outdoor courtyard for parties of up to six people.
Fishtown Brewpub

In addition to their to-go steamed seafood buckets, Fishtown Brewpub also has a small amount of nightly reservations available for seating on their sidewalk.

Frankford Hall is open for outdoor dining for groups of up to 10 people per table, and will be carefully monitoring capacity throughout the day.

Front Street has one of the biggest patios in the city, and they’re doing breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week.
Goose Island Brewhouse

Goose Island is accepting parties of up to six people at their lawn picnic tables. Depending on the size of your party, you can stay from 90-120 minutes, and no dogs or children are currently allowed.

Japanese spot Nunu is accepting reservations for their shared alley with Cheu next door. In addition to reservations, they’ll accept walk-ins when possible.

For the first time, Over Easy in Fishtown is serving dinner. There’s a full menu, and their sidewalk seating will be open Friday through Sunday from 5-9pm, in addition to their usual brunch service from 9am-1pm. While they don’t take reservations, you can call them ahead of time at 518-369-6759 to be put on their waitlist.

Sancho Pistolas is open seven days a week from noon to 11pm with about 12-16 seats on their sidewalk. Parties will be encouraged during peak times to only stay for around 90 minutes. To make a reservation, call 267-324-3530.

Suraya’s back patio is open for reservation-only seating. Their full menu is available during the week, but on Fridays and Saturdays, they only serve their pre-fixe menu.

Italian BYOB L’anima has their entire huge patio available (weather permitting) every Wednesday through Sunday. You can book a table by calling them at 215-595-2500.

Sidecar Bar has outdoor dining available with a few rules. Tables are available with a 60-minute time limit, no walk-ins are allowed, and there will be a 10-minute break in between seatings to allow for cleaning and minimum contact between guests.

Fiorella is taking names on a first-come, first-served basis for their outdoor seating beginning at 3:30pm, with seatings starting at 4pm. To-go cocktails and beer will be available as well.
Kensington

Wednesday through Saturday from 4-8pm, Helm is doing sidewalk seating and a pre-fixe menu. Reservations are preferred but not required, and you can book your table by calling them at 215-309-2211 or texting them at 856-906-8451.

Martha has opened up their back patio to accommodate parties of up to six people. They’re not taking reservations per se, but they have an online waitlist that you can add your name to whenever you’re heading over.
Logan Square

The Pizzeria Vetri near the Art Museum has a “streetery” out front, with sidewalk and street seating for around 30 people.

The Hadley is accepting reservations for their large outdoor patio, which serves a full brunch and dinner menu - and allows you to bring your dog.

Philly Bar & Restaurant has some sidewalk seating at their North Philly location. It’s first come, first served, and you can check out their specials on their website.
Trolley Car Cafe

The Trolley Car Cafe is open every day from 9am-3pm for breakfast and lunch. Their umbrella-covered tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Northern Liberties
Walk-in only
Cafe La Maude has spread tables out on their front sidewalk for dining, and will be open starting at 8am daily for breakfast, plus dinner Thursday through Saturday.
El Camino Real
Walk-in only
El Camino is open seven days a week with sidewalk seating available. Order inside and your food will be brought outside to your table. In addition to their full menu, they’re also selling frozen cocktails.

This fully-outdoor restaurant currently has seating for 50 people, plus a full bar and a menu with appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, wings, and more.

This Northern Liberties bar has 20-30 seats, with a combination of two and four tops, available for outdoor dining. Glass partitions are installed between each table as well.

Philadelphia Distilling’s patio is open for dine-in service, with a new patio spritz special every week. They’re open Thursday through Sunday, and request that you make a reservation before showing up.

Spuntino’s sidewalk seating is open every Tuesday through Saturday from 12-9pm, on a first-come, first-served basis. Parties are limited to six people, and while you can still BYOB, they’ve also started serving beer and wine.

In lieu of reservations, Continental has a waitlist system where they’ll call or text you when your outdoor table is ready. They’re serving their full menu as well as drinks.

Old City Beer Garden has great picnic tables that you can either reserve ahead of time or walk in and sit down at if there’s availability. The tables are all more than six feet away from each other, groups are limited to 10 people (no standing allowed), and instead of ordering from the usually-crowded outdoor bar, they’ll have a masked waiter taking your drink orders at your table.
Red Owl Tavern

Red Owl is doing takeout with sidewalk seating where you can enjoy your to-go food. They’re open for lunch and dinner during the week, and serve brunch on the weekends.

Revolution House, a second-floor “rooftop” that’s basically just an elevated dining room, is open Wednesday through Sunday on a first-come, first-served basis. The views aren’t exactly panoramic, but their tables are spaced out, they keep the groups to eight people max, and you don’t have to get in an enclosed elevator to get up there.

The Dutch is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8am-3pm for breakfast and lunch. Their sidewalk seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Point Breeze

American Sardine Bar’s patio is open on Wednesday through Sunday from 1-9pm. While you can’t make reservations days ahead of time, they’re using a waitlist system so you can put your name in from home and they’ll text you when there’s an available table.
Port Richmond
Cook and Shaker

Wednesday through Sunday from 4-10pm, Cook & Shaker has outdoor seating available for both reservations and walk-ins if space allows. Call 215-426-2665 to book a table for a party of six or less.

Tuesday through Thursday from 2-9pm, Memphis Taproom has opened their beer garden for drink service only. Friday through Sunday they are open from 11:30am to 11pm for both food and drinks.

Bainbridge Street Barrel House’s sidewalk seating is open every day except Monday and Tuesday on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bistrot La Minette is offering limited reservations for two tables (of four to six people) on their front porch. Reservations are required, and they’re doing a $39 pre-fixe menu, with optional supplements, plus wine and cocktails.

This board game cafe is using their sidewalk and parking space to create an outdoor cafe every Friday through Sunday. Parties are limited to six people, and there’s a $7 per person fee to rent out their games.

Southwark is doing a “Breeze By BBQ” every Thursday from 5-8pm and Saturdays from 12-4pm on their back patio. They have cheeseburgers, sausage sandwiches, portabella burgers and Boozy Punch - all for $10 each, cash only.

Ambrosia is open Friday and Saturday nights for outdoor seating on their Fitler Square sidewalk.

Branzino’s backyard garden is open daily at 50% capacity. They’ll be adding Sunday brunch as well.

Cotoletta Fitler Square is opening up 20-30 seats on the sidewalk outside the restaurant for dinner with a full menu.

Cafe Day By Day is open Tuesday through Sunday, with a limited amount of first-come, first-served sidewalk seating. Tuesday through Friday they’re open from 11am to 7pm, doing their regular takeout & delivery menus, and people can enjoy their to-go orders at any of their tables. On Saturday and Sunday, they’re open from 9am to 2pm and have full table service, with a special brunch menu.

Square 1682 is open daily for lunch and dinner from 12-10pm with seating on their outdoor patio. Reservations are encouraged, especially during dinner hours.

From 11:30am-8:30pm on Wednesday through Sunday, Stock has a few tables out front on their sidewalk that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Garden @ Fitler Club
Walk-ins only
Members-only Fitler Club has opened an outdoor restaurant that’s available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. They’re open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

The Love’s sidewalk seating is only open for parties of two due to sidewalk size restrictions. They have a full menu of Southern food available, plus cocktails, wine, and beer.

Trattoria Carina’s sidewalk seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and they’re serving their full menu of pasta, other Italian dishes, and drinks.
Tria Taproom
Walk-ins only
The Walnut Street location of Tria has turned into a pop-up called Joyride Beef & Ale that’s open Tuesday through Saturday starting at noon. You can’t make reservations, but you can order your food ahead and eat at one of the tables out front on the sidewalk.

Via Locusta only has a few tables for sidewalk seating, each holding up to four people for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. They’re also doing brunch starting at 11am on the weekend.

A.kitchen and A.bar’s sidewalk seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis until 5pm, and after that reservations are highly recommended. Their full hours are Wednesday through Friday from 5-9pm, and on weekends they’re open from 1-9pm.

Brauhaus Schmitz has room for over 60 people between their roof deck, sidewalk seating, and pop-up “beer garden” in the parking lane out front of their restaurant. The tables can fit parties up to eight people, and they’re serving their full food and beer menu.

Jet Wine Garden, Jet Wine Bar’s backyard, is offering table service instead of ordering at the bar. They’re serving a “garden menu” with snacks in addition to wine and cocktails.
Miles Table

Miles Table’s South Street location is open everyday from 9am-2pm for brunch. Seating at their sidewalk tables is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
PHS Pop-Up Beer Garden

The PHS Pop-Up Beer Garden is back and taking groups of up to eight people at its South Street location. Parties are limited to 90 minutes at their table, and must wear a mask when walking around to use the restroom or ordering from the bar.

Tio Flores has between 16-20 seats on their sidewalk available for outdoor dining, and they’re asking that parties limit their dining time to 75 minutes. If there’s a wait for a table, they are offering frozen margaritas for purchase that you can drink while you wait.

Talula’s Daily is now open for premade bakery items and wine to go. Limited outdoor seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Don Barriga has just a couple of tables out on their sidewalk, and they’re available on a first-come, first-served basis. Place your order inside, and then grab a seat outside.
Gojjo Ethiopian Bar & Restaurant

Gojjo’s outdoor patio area is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with their full Ethiopian menu and drinks available as well.

Mediterranean spot Renata’s has reopened their patio for reservation-only seating.

Sunset Social, which is essentially just a park on top of a parking garage in University City, is open and serving food and drinks Tuesday through Saturday starting at noon. They’re also limiting capacity, spacing their tables to over six feet apart, and asking people to take the elevator up one group at a time.
Accepting reservations Walnut Street Cafe has turned into Walnut Street Market for the time being, with a walk-up counter where you can order everything from bouquets of flowers to breakfast sandwiches on the weekend. They’re taking reservations, but also save a good amount of seating for walk-ins.
Wharton

This summer, Bok Bar is booking reservation-only events nightly that range from live music to glass-blowing demonstrations to pop-up dinners. They’re open Wednesday through Sunday, and kids are allowed as well this year.
