Peninsula Restaurants Reopened For Outdoor & Indoor Dining
Editor’s Note: Governor Gavin Newsom announced on July 13th that every county in California must shut down indoor dining, and all bars for indoor and outdoor drinking. In the Bay Area, impacted counties include San Mateo (which reopened for indoor dining on June 17th) and Sonoma County (which reopened on June 6th). San Mateo County restaurants have officially been allowed to reopen for outdoor and indoor dining, and we want to provide you with the most up-to-date information that we have. For now, we’re simply going to focus on what we know: Which places are opening back up and what to expect based on the state-wide restrictions. Like you, we’re monitoring the situation day-by-day (more like hour-by-hour), and we’ll continue to update this guide as restaurants reopen in these Peninsula cities.
