English Muffin Bread

Hình ảnh
English Muffin Bread can be sliced and toasted for breakfast or snacking! If you’re a fan of making English muffins for breakfast, you might like to make a whole loaf of them to enjoy! This recipe actually makes two loaves of English Muffin Bread that can be sliced and popped into your toaster. Eat some now, and freeze the rest for later (because this bread freezes beautifully). The homemade bread version of English Muffins is softer and more delicious than the store-bought dry and crispy pull-apart muffins. Slices crisp-up in the toaster, and you’ll still have all of the nooks and crannies for the butter to melt into. Ready, Set, Dough! This recipe comes from a new cookbook by my good friend Rebecca Lindamood: Ready, Set, Dough- Beginner Breads for All Occasions . This is such a wonderful book full of recipes for fluffy, golden, perfectly-crusted breads with beginner-friendly doughs. That’s perfect for someone like me. I do bake bread often, but it isn’t a strength of mine. Thi

The Little Darlin’

The Little Darlin’ is right off William Cannon and South Congress, and it’s a great place to unwind or spend a chill Sunday afternoon on the picnic tables in the huge patio out back. There’s craft beers and cocktails, outdoor games like horseshoes, a covered patio with darts, pool tables inside, and a stage for live music. The food can be hit or miss, so just stick with the basics, like the burger or the cast iron mac and cheese (just add carnitas). Importantly: on your birthday, you get a free bottle of cheap champagne. from The Infatuation Feed https://www.theinfatuation.com/austin/reviews/the-little-darlin via IFTTT nhà hàng hương sen

Lala's Little Nugget

At the dive bar Lala's Little Nugget, the halls have been decked with boughs of holly for decades - it’s been continually and epically decorated for Christmas since the 1970s. It’s gotten a bit fancier after a recent ownership change - there’s craft beer on tap now - but you can still get a Lone Star tallboy for $3 during Happy Hour. And yes, it’s even open on Christmas Day. from The Infatuation Feed https://www.theinfatuation.com/austin/reviews/lalas-little-nugget via IFTTT nhà hàng hương sen

The Grackle

Over on East 6th, increasingly surrounded by condo developments, lies this very fine dive bar with cheap drinks and one of Austin’s best whiskey selections. The Grackle’s dimly-lit interior has darts and pool, and there’s a spacious covered patio out front. It’s oddly never too crowded, and there’s sometimes even parking out front. Currently in The Grackle’s parking lot is Arlo’s , serving plant-based renditions of comfort food like hamburgers and french fries. from The Infatuation Feed https://www.theinfatuation.com/austin/reviews/the-grackle via IFTTT nhà hàng hương sen

Where To Eat In Andersonville

Hình ảnh
If Chicago is a classroom, Andersonville is the student who’s sitting quietly while other students (i.e. neighborhoods) are cartwheeling around begging for attention. So it’s easy to overlook this area if you don’t live here. But that’s a mistake - Andersonville has some of our favorite restaurants in the whole city. Here’s our guide to where you should be eating. The Spots Sandy Noto Lost Larson $ $ $ $ Sandwiches ,  Cafe/Bakery  in  Andersonville $ $ $ $ 5318 N Clark St 8.1 /10 Lost Larson originally opened just as a bakery and cafe, focusing on fantastic bread (made with house-milled grain), pastries, and toasts. But now they also serve dinner, which is equally impressive. The menu is short, but has interesting options like a mushroom custard with crab, housemade agnolotti, and some excellent Swedish meatballs in a cauliflower-based gravy that sounds terrible but is actually delicious. Come here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and get a seat o
